What is the IPARD Program?

IPARD is the Rural Development component of the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA), created by the European Union (EU) to support candidate and potential candidate countries.

IPARD aims to support the harmonization preparations and policy development for the implementation and management of the Common Agricultural Policy, Rural Development Policy and related policies of the European Union.

IPARD support should be implemented within the scope of the multi-annual “Rural Development Programme” covering the period 2014-2020. In this process, support programs to be co-financed by the European Commission and the Republic of Turkey will be implemented.

What İs The Nature Of The Supports Under IPARD? Are The Supports Free?

Financial supports within the scope of IPARD are conditional and obligatory, although unrequited.
