LOADING BELLOWS

Loading bellows, in other words, they are also known as 'Isothermic Bellows'.

They are systems that help protect the loading and unloading areas from external factors and prevent heat losses in places with heavy traffic and product transportation.

Products can be affected by adverse weather conditions due to the openings/gaps between a warehouse and a truck. In order to prevent this negative effect, loading bellows is used. Loading bellows is the best solution for the problems that may occur by preventing the air passage between the vehicle and the space during loading, unloading and storage.

The use of loading bellows gains a lot of importance in sectors that can be affected by temperature differences, especially in food. It is very useful in protecting indoor environments where sensitivity to moisture is high.

Loading bellows; It is divided into three as standard bellows, inflatable bellows and pillow bellows. Standard bellows are the most used bellows type of loading/unloading systems. It is used where high thermal insulation is not required. It consists of an aluminum profile attached to the outer wall of the loading bay, a PVC sheet surrounding the profile, and black PVC coated flaps at the front to adhere to the truck.

Inflatable blowers are generally used in areas where thermal insulation is required. It is an important part of cold chain loading/unloading operations. The bellows, which is inflated by a fan, inflates its wings until it sticks to the walls of the vehicle. This system is the most practical and suitable solution for cold chain loadings because it automatically adapts to isothermal pickup trucks of any size.

Pillow bellows, on the other hand, are used to minimize air permeability when small vehicles other than trucks and lorries approach the loading areas. The dimensions of these bellows are determined according to the dimensions of the sectional doors used in the loading area. The net passage dimensions of the sectional doors and the inside dimensions of the cushion bellows will be the same. Although the pillow widths are 300mm as standard, the pillow widths can be increased upon request.
